Our 'In Situ? Immersive Art Experience' aims to shed light on the identity struggles that immigrants often confront when adapting to new environments, as well as the broader issue of identity, heritage, and looted artefacts. Much like these stolen treasures, which have been uprooted from their places of origin and scattered around the globe, Michelle Andrea's 'In Situ?' series prompts us to ponder whether someone or something truly belongs in their original setting and if we can redefine or even affirm our identity, regardless of where we are.

Collective Artwork & Guest Participation
To maximize the impact of our message, we have co-produced with Michelle Andrea an interactive Collective Artwork named “Our Map” that encourages guests to participate actively.
The interactive process began with participants reflecting on their places of origin and the locations they've inhabited since then. After pondering these journeys, each visitor selected a Paper Card and proceeded to illustrate or inscribe the name of an object symbolizing their travels, akin to a looted artefact.
This tangible representation of their journey was not only visually captivating but also facilitated a sense of connection and shared experience among participants.

Mixing Realities aims to provoke critical reflection, co-creation, and experimentation with our perceptions and emotions. It’d like to raise awareness regarding the distortion of realities based on feelings, fears, and even fake information or wrong interpretations of facts, as well as empower our visitors to believe in their rich inner dreams in the material world.

Collective Artwork & Guest Participation
Erik López / IMGN live performance was an immersive artistic experience, woven together by the active participation of the guests. The entire artwork was created in real-time, relying solely on VJ IMGN's intuition and emotions, as the participants played a crucial role by providing the essential materials: personal media files.
Throughout our interactive exhibition, we encouraged people to delve into their individual realities through thought-provoking questions and a convenient QR code for uploading their responses, all of which revolved around personal images or videos.
